Monolitter was a site-specific performance made for the event PICNIC at Huggeormen, Aarhus. The area around Huggeormen is a gentrifide area landing somewhere between a parking lot, a building site and the first steps towards a park. Around the carpark and lake-like-structure (that has been made to give the area a sense of calm) boulders have been placed as to both guide and soothe the citizen. For this event Anna Kirstine Lykkeberg, Sigurd Meng Witt and Cecilie Julie Holst Christensen became part of these boulders. The performance consisted of movement patterns alternating between staying still as a stone and meeting each other and the audience in a sort of unfamiliar ritual.
