This lighter collection was started in 2015. Since then every lighter found has had time and place documented. The collection is ongoing. 

For this exhibition the artist got a lighter-design made, that the spectator was allowed to take with them, to add to the cycle of lighters, that is disturbed by the artist taking one out of the cycle every time she adds to her collection. The lighter reads “Give some fire to the rest of us.” - Shakespeare, Sonnet I in Danish. And is a wrong quote from Shakespeare’s first Sonnet. 

                     

In the vase that contained the give away lighters heart-shaped chocolates were hidden - only revealing themselves when enough lighters had been taken from the exhibition.
